It lasts over an hour.
You can score 12 times.
Your team cheers when you score.
You can count on it at least twice a week.
You can tell everyone about it afterwards.
Debbie was our hostess for our very first bocce event on Friday, April 1, 2016. As we noshed on delicious chicken croissant sandwiches and strawberries among other goodies, we sipped wine and listed carefully to the Bocce Rules. Ten ladies were able to join for the fun!
We formed four teams of 2 players for the first elimination round and then to the competition play off!

BOCCE RULES
1. Refill drink and hold in non-throwing hand
2. Form 2 teams of 2-4 players
3. One teams tosses the pallina (little ball) down the court. The same player tosses the first ball.
4. Teams alternate tossing bocce balls, trying to get closest to the pallina or knock the opponents' balls away.
5. The closest team scores a point for each ball closer than the opposing team's balls.
6. The first team to 12 points wins!
