Ruth hosted Women Who Wine for the month of February. We convened at Dominick's, the newest Italian Restaurant in town. Pink was the color of the day in support of our WWW sister, Vicky! Ruth returned from Florida with a treat for dessert. Just the right amount of sweetness to top off our meal. Thank you Ruth!

Women Who Wine in Miniature - January 4, 2019

The Miniature Time Museum was our destination for January's outing of the Women Who Wine. We went on a docent-led tour arranged by Connie. Seven ladies were able to attend the tour followed by lunch at Le Rendez-vous.

Christmas Dinner with Donna Nordin - December 7, 2018

Ah, Christmas! It’s the most wine-derful time of the year.

Debbie arranged for a chef-cooked meal at her holiday house for our December Women Who Wine event. Donna Nordin cooked, demonstrated and served a holiday meal for us. It consisted of puff pastry canapé with mushrooms, sage-buttermilk brined turkey breast, spinach spoon bread, baked blueberry pudding/lemon sauce and wine, always wine. Ten ladies of the vine attended this event. We learned some new tips and tricks...who knew you could poach turkey?..and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal at the end. Thank you Debbie!

Afternoon Delight in Tuscany (aka Tubac) - November 2, 2018

Connie introduced us to the "Art of Appetizers" for a Women Who Wine lunch. November 2nd brought beautiful weather for our soirée - mid-70's, a gentle breeze and no rain. Twelve ladies of the vine and special guest Sharyn made up the guest list. Connie pre-selected our appetizers so our biggest decision of the day was which wine to drink. That does make the afternoon go easy!

As luck would have it, November 2nd was also the date of the Tubac Arts Festival so several ladies were able to get a little shopping done before joining the rest of us for lunch!

Put Your Best Foot Forward! October 5, 2018

Our feet couldn't be happier!

Judy hosted the Women Who Wine for a lovely fall luncheon and foot spa event on Friday, October 5, 2018. Eight ladies were able to enjoy Judy's lovely Chicken Caesar Salad and choice of soup followed by a choice of dessert - chocolate brownie or pumpkin.

We all squeezed around Judy's Dining table for lunch. No tidbit of chat was missed by any of us! After lunch and, of course, wine, Judy treated us to a foot spa. Each of us had our own tub to soak with epsom salts. After soaking, Judy provided a delightful sugar scrub, followed by an equally fragrant body butter. Our feet have never felt so soft nor smelled so delicious! Where are the foot fetishists when you need them?!

Apple Annie's - September 7, 2018

On Friday, September 7, Kelly shepherded seven Women Who Wine to Apple Annie's located in Willcox, Arizona. Our first stop was Apple Annie's Country Store where we had a delicious lunch and, unfortunately for some, could not resist getting a pie or two to take home!

After lunch we headed to Apple Annie's U-pick Orchard. While we didn't pick any fruit, we did pick up pies that Apple Annie's was holding for us as well as play in Edith Ann's favorite chair!

Our third stop was Apple Annie's Produce & Pumpkins. We initially couldn't find any of the produce until the staff pointed out the cooler! Oh yeah, we live in Arizona! We made some veggie purchases and off we toddled back home!
