"Wines for Humanity" Wine Tasting January 2015

Ten WWW (and Carole's mom Delores) got together at Vicky's for a wine tasting presented by Wines for Humanity.  Six wines (exclusive to Wines for Humanity) were presented, paired with different cheeses and chocolates.  We all learned what a one ounce tasting pour looks like (except for Daryl :)  Carole D won a prize (a lovely wine pourer) for knowing the most wine related trivia!  And stop the presses - Christy found something she liked - and asked for more!!

January 2015 - Art Under the Full Moon

Did anyone notice the full moon? Ten ladies of the WWW trekked to the Union Public House (4340 N Campbell in Saint Phillips Plaza) on Monday, January 5, 2015, for happy hour/dinner followed by a tour of the Metal Arts Village on 3230 N Dodge Blvd in the evening. We love wine time...just look at those happy faces!

December 2014 - Christmas Celebration

December 5, 2014 - Fourteen ladies gathered at Christy's house for a Christmas Celebration. This is the first occasion all fourteen members have been able to attend a WWW event. Half of the ladies brought appetizers to share, the other half a bottle of wine. Yes, that means plenty for everyone!

Thank you to our gracious host, Christy, for decorating her house so beautifully in time for our event. We are all in a Christmas mood now!

In addition to the individual gifts made or purchased by Connie, Debbie, Christy and Kelly, Vicki surprised the WWW with a treat of a wine-tasting early next year, date and time to be announced!

Each lady brought $10 worth of Christmas Scratcher tickets, totaling $140.
Net proceeds for all tickets was $86.
The big winner was Debbie with $42! Her tickets came from Circle K!

November 2014 "Tucson Gallery Art Walk"

November 6, 2014 - Nine ladies took a road trip to La Encantada for shopping, Acacia Restaurant for their Happy Hour followed by a tour of the Madaras Gallery, Simon Gallery, and Wilde Meyer Gallery. Thanks to Pam C. for coordinating such a lovely adventure!

October 2014 "Wine, Cheese, & Fruit Pairings"

October 3, 2014 - Thirteen Women Who Wine gathered at Daryl L's home to present their team pairings of wine, cheese, & fruit.  We started out with prosecco & caviar, then followed with five other pairings.  The pictures speak for themselves!

September 2014 - "Spool Party!"

September 5, 2014 - A dozen WWW ladies were treated to a "spool" party hosted by Sharon T at her lovely home.  In addition to the very best margaritas west of the Mississippi, the gals brought a variety of appetizers to nosh on.  Although the skies were threatening, the monsoon rains held off - and the party was on!

August 2014 - "Spa Day at Starr Pass"

August 1, 2014 - Eight WWW ladies carpooled to Marriott Starr Pass Resort for a day of pampering at the Hashani spa and the  treatments of our choice.    Enroute we made a quick stop at Fry's for a few 'necessary' supplies....
